As we enter the new millennium, new challenges awaits us. This is especially for the Logistics industry. In the last century, technology have advanced tremendously and Information Technology (IT) have affected the way we do things one century ago. Now logistics are not just moving goods from one place to another but delivering value to their customers. Going globalization and integrating transportation, distribution, inventory control and logistics management is the main objective for many logistics companies. They integrate IT to increase the efficiently and accuracy of delivering and thus reduce the cost of operation. In view of this, the Logistics & Information Technology Committee of Bizad Club, NUS presents: Log n IT Fortnight 2001 -- The Awakening Moment.

basics of website publishing using FrontPage 2000 will be introduced to the
student population. Students will appreciate the efforts that have been put into websites and the like, and thus they will learn from well designed websites. Date for FrontPage 2000 I : 31 Jan 2001 Date for FrontPage 2000 II : 2 Feb 2001 Time: 6pm Venue: Computer Lab 3 Admission: $6 HTML (Basic) Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) is a useful tool for advance web page designers. Webpage basics will be taught in this course and this course also serves as a refresher course for webpage designers who only rely on web-authoring software. An increasingly important tool for all companies, students can look forward to designing their own websites for academic and corporate uses, especially for e-commerce activities.
